From its inception in 1978,
the mission of Vigilant Cinema Productions has been to narrow the gap between
disadvantaged communities and mainstream America, by using film as an
educational tool to encourage better understanding and appreciation for cultural
differences.
Vigilant Cinema Productions
has produced many high-quality, low budget short and feature length films over
the years including documentaries, dramas, television commercials, and music
videos. These productions have focused on many of the critical social issues in
society today, such as the negative impact of drugs on poor communities,
low-income housing, racial prejudice in America and overcrowded jails.
As part of its community
outreach program, Vigilant Cinema Productions has a training workshop for youth
from disadvantaged communities with special emphasis placed on women and
minorities.

is set up as a limited partnership and is seeking financial investors for its
